What are my chances of getting a place in a dorm?
The chances of getting a place in a hall of residence vary in the cities of Landau, Germersheim, Worms and Ludwigshafen. But in general, you have a very good chance of getting a place in a hall of residence. New applications are received daily and the number of available places also changes almost daily. In the Vergaberichtlinien you will find a list of all the circumstances that make an application more likely, such as: a disability, studying with a child, students from abroad or with a long distance to the place of study, Bafög recipients. Since an application is free and non-binding, we advise you to try in any case. However, we cannot guarantee that it will work.
I have received a WG place, but would like a single apartment. Can I exchange the dormitory place?

I have received a place in a dormitory. What do I have to do now?

If you accept the place, the tenancy agreement will be sent to you by email (please note that this may take 2-3 days). Please read the accompanying letter in the email to the tenancy agreement carefully and in full. We require two copies of the tenancy agreement and one copy of appendices 1-3.
